Juvederm Voluma XC is designed specially to achieve both fill and lift of skin tissue in the mid-face and cheeks, as opposed to just filling the subcutaneous space like other fillers.
Juvederm Voluma XC has been shown to also lift skin farther away from where it is injected, often reducing or eliminating altogether the need for treatment of other areas on the cheek. This makes Juvederm Voluma XC longer-lasting than other products, proven to last for up to two years. Typically, when clients return for additional treatments after two years, less product is required to restore appearance.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring compound commonly used in skin-care products.
